Brothers Redeemed Qt. was formed in November of 2001 in Hickory, NC. "When we came together, we felt our call and mission was to first and foremost lift up the name of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. We believe in the one true God, who sacrificed His Son so that all could be saved." I would like to personally introduce you to the individuals of the group and share with you a little about each of them.

RUSTY TOWNSEND is the manager and Founder of the group. He started this Ministry nearly 10 years ago. He has been a Christian for 32 years. He sang Tenor vocals for the quartet for the first 9 years of it's existance. He states "I have not always been where the Lord wanted me to be and had battles with Satan and his worldly temptations. But God has always kept His hand on me and now has lead me to share the Gospel in song." Rusty is currently the Worship Leader at Covenant Baptist Church in Conover, NC, where he also calls home. He resigned as Tenor Vocalist in December of 2010, so that he could spend more time in the local church where God has placed him to lead in Worship. He has been married to his wife Robin for over 25 years. Together they have two daughters; Natasha and Keesha. Natasha was married in June of 2010, and Keesha is a graduate of Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. Rusty praises the Lord for saving all four members of his wonderful family. Rusty states, "I continue to pray everyday that I follow the Lord's will in my life, and not my desires."

CAMERON WOODS sings the Tenor Vocals for the group and is also the Road Manager. He has been with Brothers Redeemed since their beginning in 2001. At 28 years old, he is a phenomenal talent and sings with the conviction of the Holy Spirit. "At the age of 7, I asked Christ into my heart while my Father and Mother knelt and prayed with me one Sunday afternoon." Cameron and his lovely wife Jacqualen reside in Hickory, NC. They have been married for over 6 years now. Not only has Cameron been involved in the Music Ministry, but he also spent 3 years as the Youth Leader of Covenant Baptist Church in Conover, NC, where he recently resigned in July of 2011.  Together they have two beautiful daughter's; Lillian who is 5 years old and just started Kindergarten, and Rhiley, which is 3. Cameron adds, "I turned my life over to God to use the talent He's given me as a ministry for Him. I pray that God will continue to work through my life to show others Christs' love and the way to salvation."

SHELLEM CLINE sings the Lead Vocals and is the Table Manager for the group and comes to us from Troutman, NC. Shellem joined this seasoned quartet in mid-December of 2010 and brings much excitement with him. At only 23 years of age, he sings from his heart and you can truly feel the annointing of Jesus Christ upon his life. Shellem recently proposed to his girlfriend, Lacy Philyaw. After "for what seemed like hours," Lacy said "yes!" The two are planning a Spring 2012 wedding. Shellem traveled for six years as a soloist and is very excited about the new adventure that he recently began. Shellem is handling most of the bookings for the group and a few other known Gospel artist's through his booking agency, "Cline-Tale Agency." He looks forward to meeting all of the fans of Brothers Redeemed Quartet in the new year!

KEITH HENDRIX, singing the baritone vocals for the group, has also been with Brothers Redeemed since their beginning in 2001. At 40 years old, Keith is Rusty's younger brother. Keith has been a Christian for over 20 years now and is also a licensed Minister along with being an in-active Deacon at Covenant Baptist Church in Conover, NC. Keith says, "I have made some major mistakes in my life, and yes, I have paid for them. The reason for these mistakes was that I put Christ on the shelf. But I learned that without Christ, I can do nothing." Keith and his wife Rhonda have 3 children; Tiffani, Taylor, and Trinity who all support him in his music ministry. Keith and his family call home in Conover, NC. Keith states "I just want to tell everyone what God has done for me, and where He's brought me from. I know that He can also do that for them only if they will allow Him to do so."

Randy Hartis  is the newest member of TBRQT, after officially joining them in December of 2011. He calls home to Greensboro, NC. He and   his lovely wife Carol have two children, Adam and Lindsay. They also have a variety of dogs, cats and birds which they also consider a part of their family. They attend Hickory Grove United Methodist Church in Greensboro, NC, where they are very active within their church. “Thanks to Calvary I am not the man I used to be. I thank God every day for the chance to sing His praises. Yes, God is good. He is good all the time!" Randy will bless your heart with his wide range and ability to sing for the Lord.
